Anti-Wrinkle / Wrinkle-Smoothing Treatments

Fresh and natural-looking results with minimal downtime

Overview

What is Botulinum Toxin?

Botulinum toxin is the trade name for Botox. Commonly also referred to as anti wrinkle, wrinkle relaxer or wrinkle smoothing treatment.

Anti-wrinkle treatments are one of the worlds most popular non surgical cosmetic treatments to help with the unwanted signs of aging. Used to relax the facial muscles that cause fine lines and wrinkles, helping to smooth out the skin and prevent deeper lines from forming over time. There’s really a true art to achieving natural-looking results, without looking false or frozen. It requires thoughtful planning and precision, the right injection depth, an appropriate dose, and the skill of an experienced practitioner (of course).

Treatments involve a series of tiny micro injections directly into specific facial muscles. This works by temporarily blocking the nerve signals to the area, softening expression lines and reducing the appearance of lines and wrinkles. Results start to appear usually by day 5 to 7 with full effects at 14 days, lasting 3 to 4 months for most people.

Most common areas we treat (but not limited to) are the frown lines or ‘angry lines/ 11’s’ between the brows, horizontal forehead lines and the ‘crow’s feet laughter lines’ around the eyes.
